Direct mail postcards generate leads
Direct mail postcards are a valuable marketing tool for mortgage professionals. They produce a surge of traffic to your web site or a flood of high-quality leads.
The following 6 tips will help you get the maximum response from postcards.
Tip 1: Focus on the Mailing List Make sure your postcards go to prospects likely to be interested in your offer. For example don't send a postcard touting Jumbo loans to first time homebuyers or sub prime borrowers.
WayOut Mortgage Marketing can obtain targeted mail lists for you to match any group you want to target.
Tip 2: Look Credible Remember you only get one chance to make a positive first impression. Have your postcard professionally designed and printed so that your prospects trust you to handle what could be the largest financial transaction in their lives.
Let the experienced professionals at WayOut Mortgage Marketing design your postcard for you,
Tip 3: Ditch the Sales Pitch Don't try to close sales directly from your postcard. You don't have enough space to provide all the information most prospects need to make a decision. Instead, use your postcard to generate leads.
Tip 4: Get Right to the Point Postcards are delivered 'ready to read'. Take advantage of this. Get right to the point to capture the reader's attention immediately. This makes it difficult for prospects to avoid reading your postcard - especially if your entire message is brief and easy to read.
Tip 5: Go First Class Send your postcards by First Class Mail. It costs only 23 cents in the US if make them at least 3 1/2 by 5 inches but not over 4 1/4 by 6 inches. This gives you all the benefits of First Class Mail for just a few cents more than Standard Mail ('bulk rate mail') ...and it produces a lot more replies.
Tip 6: Watch Your Timing Send your postcards so they arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. The volume of mail delivered in the US on those days is usually light and your postcards won't have to compete with a lot of other mail delivered at the same time. Try to avoid having your postcards delivered on Monday. It's usually the biggest mail delivery day of the week and a very busy day for most people.
WayOut Mortgage Marketing can assist you every step of the way from the design and printing to mailing of the postcards either to your existing database of prospects, or we can obtain a targeted mail list for you.
To help you take advantage of this great opportunity to boost your business we are offering a limited time special of 5000 4x6 inch postcards designed and printed in glossy, full color for only $400 or if you prefer the larger 6x8 inch glossy, full color postcards your cost is only $500. Call today to take advantage of this limited time only offer.

Fixed Rates fall Again
By Chris Calloway, Pres. Florida Property Group
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate fell from 5.57% to 5.53% over the seven-day period ended June 30, according to Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey. The average 15-year fixed mortgage rate decreased from 5.16% to 5.12%, the average rate for five-year Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages rose from 5.05% to 5.06%, and the average rate for one-year Treasury-indexed ARMs climbed from 4.23% to 4.24%. Fees and points averaged 0.6 of a point for fixed-rate mortgages and five-year hybrid ARMs and 0.7 of a point for one-year ARMs.
"With still little or no threat of inflation to be found, long-term mortgage rates this week had some breathing room, and that allowed rates to drift a little lower," said Frank Nothaft, Freddie Mac's chief economist. "Short-term rates, though, may be another matter, since the Federal Reserve is expected to continue raising its target for the federal funds rate at least a few more times this year." A year ago, the average 30-year and 15-year fixed rates were 6.21% and 5.62%, respectively, and the average one-year ARM rate was 4.19%.

Why A Portfolio Lender
By Christopher Calloway Mortgage Account Exec. World Savings
The most compelling reason to work with a portfolio lender like World Savings is you will close more loans and make more money. A portfolio lender lends their own money and do not sell off the loans to a secondary investor. As a result they make their own rules, can be more flexible with ratios, credit scores, and underwriting guidelines.
Do you know what the difference is between a 699 and a 700 credit score is to most lenders? The answer is commission dollars out of your pocket because they can't fit your clientinto a box needed to sell off the loan. To a portfolio lender like World Savings the difference is 1 point (same as it is to you). We do common sense lending and if the deal makes sense, we do it irrespective of credit score.
For more information on the array of loan programs offered by World Savings, all designed to help you close more loans, please call me at 813-716-4568 and it would be my pleasure to assist you.
